Under Armour Architech first 3D printed footwear from UA is going to drop in a limited release next week. Under Armour stepping into the world of 3D printed footwear with this, the UA Architech. UA says this shoe is the result of two years of design work, and that its interlaced lattice midsole can only be created using a proprietary printing process. Other tech on the shoe includes a 3D ClutchFit auxetic upper and caged cushioning underfoot.
The shoe will launch on March 18 via UA.com and its Baltimore Brand House for $299, but only 96 pairs will be available, which is a small run a reference to the Under Armour’s founding in 1996.
