Back in the mid nineties, Fila captured a decent sized chunk of the basketball market (making models for NBA stars Grant Hill and Jerry Stackhouse) with one of its best offerings being The Cage. Almost twenty years later with a Fila redesign, the much loved sneaker returns. Keeping with the classic Fila design, the paneling, line details on the upper, ankle support and midsole remain while the “cage” support piece around the ankle has been replaced with memory foam to maximize on comfort and durability. Slightly lower, but still packing a bunch, The Cage are available to buy now at Packer Shoes. |
